The Sculptor Bodasu Venkataramana specializes in ambedkar statues. He has started making ambedkar statues since 1991. The first statue of his is ambedkar statue at a very young age. Till now he has made about 2000 statues of ambedkar in various poses, sizes and materials like bronze, clay, cement, fiber etc., Most of the statues are ordered by Ambedkar Yuvajana Sanghams from various places. He was praised and felicitated by various sanghams, IAS officers, MLAs, Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, M.P Sarve sathya narayana, konda sulakshana bapujee, Gaddar, M.P Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Konda Surekha, MLA Jaipal Yadav, MLA Vamshi Krishna, Railway Minister Muniyappa(Karnataka),Minister Raghuveera Reddy and minister Shaila Naath for his artistic work on Dr B R Ambedkar.
