Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Sculptures

The first statue of his is ambedkar statue at a very young age. Till now he has made about 2000 statues of ambedkar in various poses, sizes and materials like bronze, clay, cement, fiber etc., Most of the statues are ordered by Ambedkar Yuvajana Sanghams from various places.

The Sculptor Bodasu Venkataramana specializes in ambedkar statues. He has started making ambedkar statues since 1991. The first statue of his is ambedkar statue at a very young age. Till now he has made about 2000 statues of ambedkar in various poses, sizes and materials like bronze, clay, cement, fiber etc., Most of the statues are ordered by Ambedkar Yuvajana Sanghams from various places. He was praised and felicitated by various sanghams, IAS officers, Railway Minister Muniyappa(Karnataka), Minister Raghuveera Reddy for his artistic work on Dr B R Ambedkar. He was also felicitated in Maharastra by Ambedkars’ Grand son Prakash Ambedkar, Budha Trust of India, Lohabande and Praja Sanghams. His ambedkar statues are famous all over india and abroad. These statues are spread across the country concentrated much in Maharashtra. He is practicing this art for last 26 years. He is sole responsible for the Clay work, Plaster of Paris Dye work, Lost wax process for Bronze sculpture, metal casting , welding , grinding , finishing works etc.
